Floridabeachgirl Navigating through Locks

When boating in Florida waters, there may be times when you come across locks. This is why it is important to understand how they work and how to properly and safely navigate through them. Rob Anderson Very long cold winter

I'm from Chicago and I thought I escape the cold winters... Well the only thing I can say is right after I bought my first boat and tuned it is when the weather turned bad. The only thing that doesn't make me feel too bad about the weather is that I blew a head gasket on my boat. Floridabeachgirl My First Sailboat Adventure

Ever since I was a small child I’ve always been intrigued by sailboats. I would see them in movies and wonder if it was really as fun and exciting as it appeared. Several years ago I finally got the chance to see first hand how it felt to go sailing. I worked in a plant where I became friends with a girl whose brother owned a sailboat. I was invited to go out for a day of sailing.

When the big day arrived and I found myself actually going aboard the sailboat, I had all types of mixed… Continue

A blog (short for weblog) is a personal online journal that is frequently updated and intended for general public consumption. They are usually maintained by an individual with regular entries of commentary, descriptions of… Continue
